David Chokachi (born David Al-Chokhachy on January 16, 1968 in Plymouth, Massachusetts) is an American television actor. He's best known for his role in the TV series Witchblade, Baywatch, and Beyond The Break. He was born to a Turkish-born Iraqi father and Finnish mother
He attended Tabor Academy, an elite boarding prep school in Marion, Massachusetts. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a degree in political science.
Chokachi began his acting career in 1995 on Baywatch as "Cody Madison", eventually replacing David Charvet as a main cast member. In 1999, he left Baywatch and took up the role of Jake McCarthy in the TV series Witchblade, which lasted until 2002. Following that, he appeared in various TV series and made-for-TV movies. He appeared on the The N channel on the 2006 TV show Beyond The Break as a main character. He can currently be seen on VH1's Confessions of a Teen Idol, a reality show in which former teen idols attempt to revitalize their careers. He was one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" in 1997.
