  Early career
He was born in Houston, Texas. He moved to Ohio and resided in the Los Angeles area. At age 22, while in Ohio, he entered an Arnold Classic bodybuilding contest where he was spotted by photographer, Irvin Gelb. He became a successful muscle and fitness model, frequently appearing in such widely-read publications as Muscle & Fitness, Men's Fitness (both founded by bodybuilding impresario, Joe Weider) & Men's Workout, amongst others, as well as becoming a featured model for the International Male clothing catalog.


Adult film career
As "Brett Mycles", he gained fame as an adult film actor, achieving the rarely attained feat of maintaining successful careers in both the mainstream fitness and adult film industries simultaneously. He starred in several adult films, mostly for Studio2000, primarily in solo masturbation and wrestling fantasy scenes, and posed nude in several adult magazines. He worked in both same-sex and opposite-sex adult films. He also made regular appearances on a webcam site for paying fans. In a 2005 interview, he stated that he'd recently married his high school sweetheart, whom he first met when he was 19 and she was 17.


Awards and nominations

Death

He died in his sleep of heart failure on February 25, 2007. Weeks beforehand, family and friends report that he complained of irregular heart beats and said that his family had a history of heart problems.
